The 73 Power Prayer Team
Update 22 August 2017

During the weekend of our 30th Class of 1973 Homecoming Reunion in 2003, a gathering of approximately 65 classmates, wives, family and friends took place in the USNA Chapel. This occurred early, the Saturday morning prior to the football game. The event was advertised as a “non-denominational, faith-based fellowship.” In addition to prayers and songs, volunteer 73er classmates offered their personal testimonies as to how God had worked in and or influenced their lives. All were moved and inspired by that meeting. From that arose the “73 Power Prayer Team.”

The Mission of the Team is: “to pray in our own ways for the needs and requests of all our members.” In doing so, countless messages and prayers have been communicated among all. All are welcomed and being on this Team has been a blessing to all. It’s also an outstanding way to stay in touch with classmates and to “give rather than simply receive.” Our Prayer Team’s motto is naturally the same as our Class of 1973’s: “Non Sibi” which reflects our belief that there is most definitely, a higher purpose for life.

Simply send a message to the team at: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , to join today. Let us never forget nor underestimate the power of prayer. There is no ‘I’ in “TEAM.” “Time, tide and formation wait for no man, or woman!”
